David C. Cleveland

David has extensive experience before judges and juries in state and federal courts, as well as governmental agencies. His practice focuses on litigation in the areas of personal injury and construction defect at the trial and appellate level.

 

After practicing for two years in Greenville, South Carolina, David moved his practice to Charleston in 1991 and joined Clawson & Staubes in 1998. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association and South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association.

 

A native of South Carolina, David graduated from Furman University with a degree in political science and obtained his juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

 

David is married and lives in downtown Charleston. He enjoys sports and boating, and attempts to play golf.
