Chris B. Staubes III

Chris heads up the business law section of Clawson & Staubes. Within his areas of practice, Chris assists primarily corporations and other business entities with their legal and regulatory matters. He has extensive experience assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, corporate start-ups, corporate dissolutions, and general corporate matters.

 

After graduating from Wofford College, Chris earned his law degree from the School of Law at the University of South Carolina. He is licensed to practice in South Carolina and North Carolina.

 

In addition to his professional duties, Chris served as general counsel to the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce from 2000 to 2003. He has served as a member of the Ethics Advisory Board of the South Carolina Bar, and the Chamber's Business Expo Task Force. In 2001, he was named to the Charleston Regional Business Journal's Forty Under 40 for his public and community service.

 

Chris resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife Tanya and their three children.
