Margaret M. Urbanic

Peggy is admitted to practice in South Carolina in all state and federal courts. She practices in the areas of insurance defense and worker’s compensation defense.

 

A member of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association and the Women Lawyers Association, Peggy tries numerous cases each year throughout South Carolina. She appears before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission and in state courts representing individuals, employers, the self-insured and insurance carriers.

 

Peggy graduated from the College of Charleston cum laude with a degree in history. She received a juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Peggy was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable E.S. Swearingen, a U.S. magistrate judge.

 

Peggy lives in Mt. Pleasant, plays tennis in her spare time and is a member of the Junior League of Charleston.
