About

Jack was born and raised in Walterboro, SC. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2018. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2021. After his first year of law school, Jack served as an intern to the Honorable David C. Norton, U.S. District Judge for the District of South Carolina in Charleston. Throughout law school, he worked as a law clerk for the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office and multiple private law firms, all focusing on civil litigation. Jack was also a member of the Mock Trial Bar and competed in multiple mock trial competitions.

After graduating from law school, Jack moved to Chester, SC where he clerked for South Carolina Circuit Judge Brian M. Gibbons. During his clerkship, he was able to gain first-hand experience of being in a courtroom and gained a lifelong mentor in Judge Gibbons. After his clerkship, Jack joined the Charleston Office of Clawson & Staubes.

Jack considers himself an avid outdoorsman. When not in the office, he enjoys all types of hunting, fishing, playing golf, and, most of all, being on the boat.
