Jessica is an associate in the Charleston office of Clawson and Staubes, LLC. She practices in the firm's general civil litigation group with a focus on business litigation and insurance defense.
Jessica graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She then attended law school at Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. During law school, she received a CALI award for excellence in Jurisprudence, served as a law clerk for the Honorable William A. Fears, Superior Court Judge for the Towaliga Judicial Circuit, and served as a research assistant for Professor David Hricik. Jessica was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2012 and the South Carolina Bar in 2013.
Upon graduating law school, Jessica returned to her hometown of Charleston and began her career with a general litigation firm where she handled insurance defense and personal injury cases. She also has transactional experience practicing in the commercial and residential real estate arena.
Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and as a former spinning instructor, taking as many indoor cycling classes as possible.
