Parker Stowe Manning was raised in Cary, North Carolina. He is a third generation Virginia Tech graduate where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-National Security cum laude from the Honors College. He held several leadership positions in the Corps of Cadets, was a brother in the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and was a Presidential Global Scholar in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland. He commissioned into the Army after four years in the Reserve Officers Training Corps.
Parker graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was involved with the Pro Bono office as an arbitrator for the 11th Circuit’s juvenile prevention program. He worked as a law clerk in the Criminal Appeals Division of the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office. After the bar he worked as an associate at a Raleigh, North Carolina based real estate firm.
Parker is an avid Virginia Tech athletics supporter and football season ticket holder. He enjoys traveling, tennis, golf, and kayaking throughout the Carolina’s.
