Steven joined Clawson and Staubes in January of 2022, and practices with the firm’s litigation group. Steven earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Political Science from Newberry College, as well as his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. While in law school Steven was a member of the Honor Council.
Outside of the office, Steven is a guest lecturer at Newberry College, speaking to incoming freshman about the practice of law. He is also serves as a judge for the SC Bar Middle and High School Mock Trial Competitions every year. Prior to joining Clawson and Staubes, Steven represented plaintiffs in personal injury cases ranging from automobile collisions to medical malpractice, collecting over $3,000,000.00 in settlements and verdicts for his clients in the previous three years.
In his free time, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife Bret, their two dogs, and cat.
